Weird that! Just noticed it now myself! The bowl is about 1" (20 to 25mm) thick so I can guarantee it's not see through!

Another one off the Stubby.
Still left it quite 'chunky' but I kinda like it - another fun piece.
+- 13" - just finished with a couple of coats of linseed oil so far. -
Just as an add on / after thought - for utility...
Just as an add on / after thought - for utility items that see frequent use (washing/wiping clean etc), it appears that no permanent marker I have used stays on for all that long.
