Getting out of bed can sometimes be a real prick.

Ply would be your best option, I love the stuff. MDF is just glorified cardboard, and particle board is merely a cheap substitute in any situation or application.

If that is the case, same reason anyone ridicules or denigrates anything i suppose... makes them feel big and as though their opinion counts.
