There are 4 larger cutters @ 1/2" shank the remaining 10 cutters are 8mm shank that is employed with the 1/2"to 8mm collett reducing collett.

This comes with a new Flat backing pad which I fitted today as well as custom 80mm x 133mm profile backing pad.It has had minimal use ,plugged in works...

Could be the bearings need replacing or brushes on the current sander ,can only suggest you contact Festool for a skin of the sander see if they will entertain the idea of sander only.

Agree with whats been said ,buy local like Carbi-tool or import good german quality Freud has a good name in tooling.
