Prize Cactus - An Oxymoron?
A few years ago one of our son's mates, who specialises in growing cacti, gave us a small cactus. At the time is was probably two inches tall. Over the years it has grown. It is a strange beast as the main stem is narrower at the bottom than the top.
Son's friend visited us recently and as we were showing him around the garden he did a double take when he saw our little cactus. He maintained that it has grown into a show stopper.
It is a Myrtillocactus Geometrizans, but you knew that.

Is he right?
