Can't set MLT100 to 45 degrees
Hi all
I've tried searching the forum for my problem but can't seem to find anyone with a similar issue.
I own an MLT100 and over the weekend I wanted to cut some timber and for some reason I can only set the angle to 42 or 43 degrees. I can't get it that extra bit further for 45. I couldn't see any reason when I pulled the bottom off and flipped it over. I have no idea if I have ever set it to 45 before or not. Just wondering if anyone who owns this model had or has this issue. Cheers.

I have this saw but now that you ask I don't think I have tried to cut at 45°. I would guess that a build up of saw dust is stopping it travelling all the way

Agree with MA; probably a build up of dust or shavings in the mechanism. An air line is your friend here. Alternatively make sure the fence is at its full height or removed completely; it may be fouling on the table. On a similar note check the blade isn’t fouling on the insert.
Nothing succeeds like a budgie without a beak.
