    Default help please....

    Hello

I am very new to all of this and this also is my first time at 'blogging'

I am hoping that I am in right place in asking for advice as I am at my wits end.

I would like to attempt making a bowl out of resin and I need a mould to do this but do not know which way to approach this.

any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.

    First, welcome to the forum.

I presume you mean epoxy or casting resin?

And, that you plan to turn a wooden bowl as your master shape from which you will then cast rubber moulds into which you will pour your resin?

Which part of this process that relates to woodturning are you having problems with?

    .
    Stay sharp and stay safe!

If it's polyester or epoxy resin, read here:

(and read the rest of that site, for good tips on working with fiberglass)

And watch this - the same technique can be used for making bowl shapes.

(Oh - and this isn't a blog, its a web forum)
