marples chisels
What price would Marples chisels be worth, a widow has about 15 of various styles to be cleared out of the shed . I picked up some silky oak boards today, but not interested in the lathe tools or the old lathe.
regards John.

Here is a set in as new condition that sold recently:
VINTAGE MARPLES WOOD TURNING CHISEL SET M 1002 UNUSED | eBay
This would be a good guide.

The Widow might want to get onto the gang at "Restorers Barn" Castlemaine.......they have the largest selection of used woodworking tools...(and most other things).......always call in when I go over to visit my elderly Mum.

Be aware that these are probably Carbon Steel not HSS.
Good chisels all the same.

Manufacturer in this case. Marples to the best of my knowledge never made HSS turning tools, but they made excellent CS ones.
