Christmas work
I have orders... LOML to produce a few bowls etc for Christmas. This one is the first, 16x4 in Mallee and satin WOP finish.

Was that a nervous turn Hughie? The side pieces look barely attached. Lovely piece.

Well Hughie, that is certainly dramatic.
I almost prefer the underside, that effect of the outer layer (Bark?)
All white and jagged (like a snow scene), probably would not do fruit much good but visually it's great.Dragonfly
No-one suspects the dragonfly!

Not so much, you stop often to check the thickness. I probably could have taken some more off. But the bowl will be used as a fruit bowl so its needs a 'practical thickness' .
Ray, Artme, Ted & Brendan thanks
dr4g0nfly. I like the bottom as well, had I turned it up the other way I would have lost most of it. The shape didn't give me a lot of options.Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working. — Pablo Picasso
