Chopsticks
Im New to all this and wanted to start with something easy what kind of wood can be used for Chopsticks as ive been told not to use Toxic wood ? (whats that?) does any one have advice?

Split bamboo and a pen knife will make good chopsticks. If you want to use a lathe, first watch 's safety videos,
get some lessons, join a club. Start safe and stay safe.

I too recommend joining a club. Chopsticks may appear easy, and are easy once you have mastered the skew, but not something I would give to a beginner due to their slenderness.
Do you need a rolling pin, or timber mallet, both good for the beginners.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

No chop sticks ain't easy. Start with a rolling pin. Or 10.

It was a good idea, putting your town in, as a lot don't, then we can offer you some help.
