    Default IT Guru question

When I click on my 'favourite' to go to http://www.ubeaut.com.au/ the window opens up in full screen mode, however when I click on the link to the forum (http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/) from this page, the subsequent page opens up in only half the screen. I subsequently maximise the window, but every link / picture I click on from within the forum also only opens up in half screen size format.

Please advise what I can do to rectify this.
It only started happening since I visited http://www.canterburyworkshop.com/index.htm from the link within the "Books, Videos & Plans" forum.

I would prefer the links and pictures to open in full screen mode

All other links and pages I select outside this forum, open in full screen mode.

It depends on how the developer wrote the script for the hyperlink. He may have specified to open in a new window with parameters such as 'normal' window & not maximised.

    But........

You can try this; go to the site you have mentioned & click on a link which will open a new window. Reposition the window to the top left corner & use the little grap handle on the bottom right to drag the window to full screen.
Hold down the shift & Ctrl keys while you click on the X (close) button in the top right corner.
This tell Windows to remember to spawn child windows as full screen.
Click the link again to see if it opens full screen.

    Hope this helps.
    Cheers

    Hi

I had the same problem a while back, you have to stop visiting them sites.

You have to drag the window to the top left corner of your screen, then use the arrow thingy in the bottom right corner to make the window the required size.
When you close that window, all others should open to the size you set.
    Awwwwh ****!! I sound like a nerd.

I thought this WAS a site ? It's got handtools in it ?
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.
