I think I am addicted
I think I must be addicted to the workshop I am spending too mush time in there and enjoying every minute.
Any way three more bits from my shed. All three are from some beech I got when I went to Faversham to collect something from freecycle as I was driving to collect I spy three people cutting down a tree, so on the way back I stop "Excuse me" I said "Yes" was the reply "what are you going to do with that lot" "burn it on a bonfire". Well to cut a story short two rather large chaps run across a very busy road and load my estate up full of the logs. The car did moan a bit. It cost me a bowl which I was very happy to do.
Anyway below are three bowls from them logs. Working from largest to smallest sizes are 9 1/2" X 2", 6" X 2" and 5 1/4" X 2". Also a side view of the larger one.

Dalboy,
After another look at your photos, I thought they were a bit cold looking. I downloaded one, put it into Picasa, and warmed it up a bit. See below.
Picasa is a free program to file adjust photos: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Picasa

I'm a retired commercial photographer and use Picasa. It is easy to use and does what I need. I have used Photoshop 6 years ago but the current versions are too expensive for my budget, and I only used about 10% of the capability. So much timber, so little time.

Nice set of bowls.
And I agree no such thing as spending too much time in the workshop.
