Finials
The club has been asked to produce a chair for Santa, for a local community club. Last Saturday, I was asked if I could turn some finials. I asked for a drawing and some specifications. I got a rough drawing and told to modify as needed. so a bead in the base and a bead to break up the stem of the finial. Cypress pine, 150mm high x 85mm wide. Sanded with #240 as it will be given a coat of poly. It's always fun trying to replicate turnings

Well done Pat. Not easy to get the same without much detail in the Turning.

Hello smiife, I've requested a pic of the finished chair. I installed the finials on the back legs last Saturday, then they were whisked away for clear poly coats.
