Default Segmented Curly Maple & Sapele Mahogany Vase

Well I've finally had a chance to get out to my shop and get back to turning I've made several pieces these past two weeks this is one I had started at my old house and is now going to be a Christmas present for my daughter; I'll be posting the others soon under there own topics. The finish was sanded to 320 and Deft sanding sealer was applied then carnuba wax after very fine steal wool.

    Hi splinter,
Very nice piece, it looks beautifully finished
and well turned, i wish i had the time and the patience
    to do something like that,
My only comment would be when you take a photo
try and use a plain background , i think it would
make the piece look even better , hope you don, t mind
    my comments !
    Cheers smiife
