    Default Camphor bowl

    This is a recent bowl out of camphor a nice piece from Mapleman and a nice piece at that. I always am impressed with how camphor works.

    Nice one Rod, yeah CL is a great timber for this sort of turning. This one has come up a real treat.

    Sweet looking bowl Rod, certainly helps when you have such a great looking piece of CL to start with.
    Mapleman has provided a lot of beautiful CL from that root ball.

    Thanks for the replies,
    Smiife not even close to being competition with the extent of Hughie's development of this type of work but working on it,a nice piece all the same. Nanigai you are correct in the type of timber Mapleman always seems to source,usually highly figured.
