    Default Thank you.

To all the forumites that attended the Brisbane Show and made themselves known to Neil, Pauline and myself.

It is nice to put faces and voices to the names on here.

The scones, cakes and muffins didn't go astray either.

    Thank you.

It was wonderful to meet you, and to see Pauline and Neil again, one happy meeting I wish I could repeat more than once a year.

Now , the big test, can you remember everyone and match their names with avatars and faces?

    cheers

    Ian,

Will you be attending Melbourne WWW show at the end of the year, if so we can see how goodlooking we have both become over the 20 years since we last met.

ptc - Nup. Sorry, but unfortunately they have put it on just before Melbourne (by far the most important show of the year) and we just can't physically do both. Had it been after Melb we would have been there with bells on.

    THANK YOU BRIZZY SHOW VISITORS!
It was great to see so many forum members at the show. Thank you for all the goodies they were all much appreciated.

Wendy - hope the dreaded lurgy has gone and you are feeling much better. Thanks for not sharing it with us.

Would have been a better show if it had been Fathers Day on Sunday instead of Mothers Day. Most exhibitors had an absolutely woeful day.

Got back to Geelong late on Thursday. God I hate the bloody Pacific Hwy. No wonder you lot don't venture down south too often. Six hours on the Pacific is worse than 16 on the Newell. Stopped in Sydney and picked up shellac and other supplies. Got the bad news that shellac has had another price rise of around 20%, that's over 55% rise in price over the past 4 years. Bloody ridiculous.

Surprisingly enough I was pleased with our fuel consumption for the round trip of 4173km. We were carting approx 1 tonne of gear and travelling pretty hard and it only cost a little over $590 and I still have 3/4 tank left. Dearest place for petrol, Yass (NSW) $1.59 and Avenel (Vic) at $1.62 per litre.

10 days till we leave for Sydney..... Bugger!

    Cheers - Neil

Judging by the attitudes of some of the exhibitors and the bargains i was able to beat some of them down to on saturday, a lot of them would have been doing it tough at this years show. seems to be the way the economy is, not a lot of people have much money in the toy budget. Anyway, Neil, Pauline and , we had a great time, and looking forward to having the relocation of the workshop completed soon so we can try out the U-Beaut products we got
