    Default Supplier of pine knobs

Hi, I am in Brissy and trying to source raw timber knobs, in a ball / spherical shape (NOT mushroom), about 30/35mm diameter, then tapering in, and back out again to a small shoulder? to about same 30/35mm diameter. There is a large architectural timber supplies mob up here, who have one, but unfortunately they say it will be discontinued. Do any of you woodies know of a supplier who would have a reasonable assortment of raw timber knobs (probably pine). Tried that *really* large hardware shop, they only have one, and it's too big. I would love to hear any ideas. Only want half a dozen/ten or so, to start with. thanking you very much, Trish.

    Hi Trish

Do you need this Ball Shaped Knob to have an insert in the back (for a machine screw) or a pin or dowel fixing?

Hi Ray, actually it doesn't matter if it has an insert at all, probably best if they do not have one. thanks, Trish.
