    Question veneer company in Brisbane

Anyone know what happened to a company called East Coast Veneer and Plywood that was once on Sandgate Rd in Brisbane? I have a swatch of veneer from them that I do not seem to be able to find anywhere else and wonder if the company was bought out or just closed down. Grasping at straws I know...

Michael - sorry but don't know company your looking for but came across Five Star Finishes at Currumbin a while ago see - http://www.fivestarfinishers.com.au/

I was looking for paper back veneers and they sent me a huge file of samples. They back the veneer themselves so I suppose they can supply raw veneer as well. I picked up a "cheapo" sheet of paper backed Sliced Pacific Maple to try out on a small project for less than $60 of a 1.22 x 2.44m sheet.

You want to see their showroom - some of the veneers are to die for!

    Cheers - Phil
