Timber Source Perth
Hei Folks,
Bunnings is over priced and usually poor quality and Carbatec is too far to travel.
Anyone know of a source for decent quality reasonably priced timber south of the river.
Thanks
Paul

Not real sure, been looking myself. Bought bits from Collies, but not much on the quality there either.
Just put in an Order with Carbatec, lucky they still owe me a delivery of a router table so combined it to reduce delivery cost.
A local south supplier of quality Australian timbers would be good.

I have bought from here before.

Not sure how good the prices are compared to other places, but he has a good range of timber. Call before you go there as he is not always open.

These people may be worth a look???

I was told about them some time ago but, as I live in timber Heaven, have never had occassion to go and have a look.
It only takes one drink to get me loaded. Trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or fourteenth.

Fantastic info so far, thanks from me and my other half. Western Trade is real close so dropping in is no problem.
Cheers from Perth

Paul,
If Carbatec is too far north then this guy will probably be too far south but I have purchased from him when I was over west and he was good to deal with. Not sure if he is still around but Steve Stone at Griston Timber 9726 2292 is down around Dunsborough.
Good luck...

It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
