I only have a rough idea how to use one chisel, so everything I've turned to date is an entry

No, no, no, no, no.... it is on a 2" circular pad in a drill chuck.

If you run it & the lathe fast enough, it gives a beautiful suede finish.

18" petrol...never fails me. Fired it up this arvo - 2 pulls and away it went. Hasn't been started for about 3 months.

Good idea Twinnie, will have a think.

I have my own challenges, like something turning out the same as I intended.

    Cheers..............Sean

    Red face Okay I'm Game

Here is a photo of three bottle stoppers I made. Got the idea here. I don't remember who the genius was that put them on the BB but thanks again.

I like to make mine so that they are short enough to fit in the fridge.

The left hand one and the middle one were done with a 1" skew chisel and the right hand on was done with a 3/4" spindle gouge.

As per the challenge only one chisel was used for each item.

Sorry about the quality of the photo but my photography is never great.

I know that these are not too challenging to make but they are just about the only thing other than pens that I make using one chisel - usually a skew.

Sorry I missed your closing date. Still going?

I turned these with a 1/2-in hand chisel. Do the drilled holes disqualify?http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...ad.php?t=42418
