    curious about what turned items have been best sellers over the years there in Australia, that is, the most consistent sellers.

    my most succesfull turnings has been the large west australian banksia nuts.

    depending on the size and shape of the nut, vase's.
    potpourri holders with lids,pen&pencil holders, bud vase's.
    the heavy nuts are the best.
    i use yellow shellac as a finish, number of coats depends on the
    individual nut
