would like to know
Is anyone familiar with RINGMASTER tools. They are used for making rings from which bowls, canisters, vases, etc. etc. can be made. The ad. simolar to most ads. indicates that they are a wonderful tool but I don't go much by that.
Would appreciate any imput you might have. If you are not familiar with them then how about locations of some good fishing.

Sounds like a ring cutter tool . Google up Bruce Leadbeater and have a look at his site. he makes one which may be what you want .

aaah!
Oldiephred,
The ring master is a bit exspensive @ $500 for the basic and $700 for variable speed. I say this because you can buy a simpler tool from
Bruce Leadbetter that will fit your lathe for less than $100AUD. Or make your own using HSS tool bits from broken end mills etc. This would cost around $25 or so.
