Prunus bowl
Had first the intention to make a lidded bowl, but it warped a little bit, not a good sign for a nice fit of the lid, so than only a bowl, also nice.
Prunus is familiar with cherry, we call it ''steenkers''.
It's an inland woodspieces, grows in the province Limburg, and some other places. Got it from a good friend.
The DxH size of the bowl 7''x4'' (175mmx100mm)
Finished with three layers blanc transparent stain.
Thanks for looking.

The bowl
Good one Mate. That is nicely proportioned and a lovely colour. Glad you didn't go for a really glossy finish!

Hi Ad, I like your Prunus (Cherry) bowl!!! Nice work.
Does your Prunus wood smell like Cherry when turned (ours does)?
