double-hung windows

Hi, I would like to build a timber double hung window. The timber is Western Red Cedar.
Can any body suggest if there are any plans for the sash profiles or where I can get the associated window hardware. I live in Perth West Australia so an Australian supplier would be beaut.

There is also a good coverage in a book you might be able to access thru your local library....the book being "Woodwork in Theory and Practice by John A.Walton.
