Default Durden top turn 300 lathe

I want to add a new section of bed to this old lathe. The beds were in 600mm (I think) sections that bolted on. I believe the company is no longer trading. Anyone know where I can get a bed section to suit?

    Default Durden Manufacturer

Try FW Hercus in South Australia, they seem to be shifting Durden gear in recent times on E-Bay. http://www.fwhercus.com.au/

    Default durden lathe

    Thanks KevM

I have contacted Hercus and am awaiting a reply. The TT400 shown on their web site looks, for all money, to be identical to mine which is an old lathe except that the new TT400 is on a cabinet - mine is mounted on a very heavy home-made frame. Many thanks for the info.
