New platter
Starting to get the hang of this laminating now.. I think . This one is black bean with silver ash trim. The black bean has produced some nice patterns in this one. It is 325mm diameter and 25mm deep overall. Plate thickness ia 5mm. Reasonably happy with the outcome.

Black bean is a right pita, makes me sneeze like hell and in some instances, I score a nose bleed. It is a nice timber and I like working it so I now wear a Racal respirator when working it.

Very nice Jim, I like it a lot. I doubt I'd have the skill or patience for that type of work.
