    Default Mini cyclone

    Hey guys,
Just thought i'd post some pictures of my mini cyclone that I have just made. It works great and as you can see in the pics hardly no dust goes into my vacuum.

Very easy to make, I bought the hose from carbatec (4 inch) which was the most expensive at $10 a metre!

    Regards,
    Andy.

Well done, you've started on the slippery slope of better dust extraction infiniteum.
I make things, I just take a long time.

Interesting design. Might give it some thought.

Problem is that I have giving this quite a lot of thought.

    Default Plans?

Hi groeneaj, Your cyclone looks very impressive. Could it be used with a vacuum hose attached to the machine as well as 4 inch hose? Then it could be used on power tools like the sander and plane as well as the sawbench. Do you have any plans or drawings of yours?

I couldn't quite work out what you used between the "Handy Pail" and the dust bucket below. Was it another container cut to shape?

Look like a simple funnel to me but I've been wrong before...
