Where's the thread about the whatsit?
I'd search myself only I can't think what its called. You know the thingy that you can hold balls and turned fruit shapes in to fix up their bottoms? Its made out of pipes and plumbing stuff isn't it?

The link was good if you want to make a permanent chuck. If you only need a temporary one, turn a jamb cuck endgrain into branch wood.
