Easy storage racks in new garage
Hi All
I have just moved into a new home and would like to knock up a storage rack approx 2.4m long, 2.4m high and about 700mm deep. It will double up as a sort of room divider in the garage to seperate cars from sawdust making area.
I have some leftover MDF sheets that could go on the back of it to tidy up the look when entering from the house. I would like to have shelves about every 600mm if possible.
Just looking for a simple design that I could knock up this weekend. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

With an Al cutting blade try this stuff

End result and easy you just need some ply for the shelves, cover sheets if you can get them , about $30 for 6 meters and $1 average per fitting

Cheap and easy
Whilst mine are not a patch on Ashore's shelving - here was my solution. Very cheap and easy. Made from structural pine. Front frame and rear frame assembled separately with coach bolts. And then screwed together.

Here is a closeup of the frame.

Shelves were made from MDF or plywood (whatever was laying around). I've made 3 of these over the last couple of years and they work pretty well. You can see in the first picture the dismantled steel shelving (bottom right of frame) I bought from Bunnings - it was awful stuff.

Dexion or slotted angle, then they can adjustable, but pricey.
The pine is also adjustable by drilling more holes.
