Your pretty much right about "The Blob" Johnnie.
I one way or another a big sticky mess is not to far off the mark at the moment!
I've been left with a hole lot of family commitments that will take a few months at least to sort through.
Nothing horrible just a lot of work to be done.
So there wont be any work done on the Harley for quite sometime.
As soon as I get everything wrapped up I'll be back to the Harley.
I'm still hoping to get the Indian to the WWWShow in Sydney in June!.
Cheers

You take care of anything you need to Trev. I'm sure we'll all check in from time to time to see how things are going. The Harley can wait, family can't.

Thanks Johnnie.
I think I can get most of what's needed to be done out of the way in six weeks or so.
I'll just need to keep the Harley out of sight or I'll keep stopping to work on it.
You can probably guess reading between the lines I'm clearing out the family home.
Not the best job in the world!!
Dear old Mom and Dad only ever owned one house and managed to fill pretty much every inch of it.
Still wonderful people my parents!.
But I'm thinking this maybe be payback for not cleaning my room as a kid.
Cheers mate

You know that you are 100% right in believing this very thing! When I had to do it I found stuff from my days in kindergarten that my Mom had kept forever!
I am sorry to hear that you are having to clean out your parents home. It really sucks when the folks you remember as being your closest allies as a child become something less than what you remember. He who blesses his neighbor in a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted as cursing!

Thanks Craig!.
Your right about the useful box Dad has some real gems in the shed.
I'll never be wonting for a hand tool again in my life.
It's worth the dig to the back I know there's an 1948 Ariel Red Hunter back there.
Along with hundreds of Matchbox cars.
Just big kids us Jones Boys!.
As a kid for me it was Dalek's and Cybermen. Scared the bejebus out of me.
The first real Horror film I ever saw was The Shining.
I don't think I slept for a week!.
Cheers Guy's

All's good mate just going through the process of clearing out the family home.
Dear old Dad pasted away and there's a ton of work to be done.
Being me I know full well if I work on the Harley six months will go past and I wouldn't even notice.
So for the moment I need to "Try and not work on it" (No promises there).
But I really need to concentrate no getting all of the estate requirements out of the way, then look at relocating myself.
So it's a bit hectic around here in one way or another.
Mom and Dad only ever owned one house so there's a life time of "stuff" to be sorted.
It's just a bit of a shame that in the end so much of it comes down to how much you can fit into a dumpster!.
But that's just the way it is!.
Still I'd rather be working on the Harley and wondering if it was time to go and see Dad at the retirement home!.
Cheers mate

Not that I've been working on the Harley or anything when I have a hole lot of other things to be getting on with.
But some how or another the top cover of the gearbox seems to have gotten itself painted!.
Add to that there's really not much you can do about clearing out a shed at 3 o'clock in the morning.
It seemed fair to cut and fit the last of the studs (lucky the Dremel doesn't make to much noise).
So that the cover could be put in place.
Got it all done by 5 o'clock so no harm no foul!.
Lots of time left in the day for all those things I should be doing!.
Cheers

Hey Trev,
You haven't lost your touch over the last couple of weeks - looks fantastic as usual. I can imagine you at 3 in the morning running the dremel on low speed so as not to annoy the neighbours !!!
Good the cops didn't turn up.
Take Care
Keith
