    Thanks to all for all the comments. Ill Try and answer some of your questions.

    I make the side fins seperate and join them to the fish. Depending on the size of the fish i do the same with the top and bottom fins.

    Scally, i have seen fiberglass fish made in the style you mentioned and i have been thinking of having a go at that style.

    Lastly, they are not copies of the fish i catch, i would have to downsize the tools for that.

    Lovely work Fisherman

    My only comment would be that if they were three dimensional and mounted on a slender spike standing off (and possibly at a slight angle) from the wall, they'd cast a great shadow. Then they could be 'animated' more with twists and bends in their bodies, giving the impression of life in the fast stream. But realise that's a different effect altogether and maybe one you're not interested in.

    Then you could run a string of LED lights behind that timed to come on sequentially would give the effect of water movement along the fish.
