Out of the packet they look pretty good and have a nice heavy feel to them. The leaves are highly polished and I guess protected with a lacquer finish?
The hinges are nominally 50mm x 30mm.
I put the verniers over one set and the results were:
Hinge 1.
Leaf size opened: 50.14 x 30.2 Pin length 50.35
Diagonals 58.13 and 58.4
Hinge 2.
Leaf size opened 50.28 x 30.09 Pin length 50.15
Diagonals 58.18 and 58.0
Both hinges messured exactly 2.00 mm thick.
So the hinges do have some slight variation in size and aren't exactly square but are pretty close.
They are a step up in quality to anything I've bought in Oz before but then at $13 something US they should be (of course postage has to be added to that as well)
I was dissapointed though that for that price they don't come with screws.

I recently purchased some solid brass hinges from them, and although not the same high quality as Brusso, they are the best I've been able to source locally.
