who in Auz sells Jointer/thicknesser blades.
Im searching for a blade/knife supplier. I have a 6" jointer of Tiawan origin which was sold under various brands. I can get the knives sharpened at $9 per blade but would prefer a spare set. Also my thicknesser a 12" job has done a bit and red gum aint that soft. Would love a Victorian supplier but any Aus would be fine.

There is a company call W. H. Blakely who sharpen our guillotine knives at work. They have done some 8" jointer knives for me and did a great job.
I spoke to a rep at a printing trade show, and they can make knives to spec, so they may be work trying.

I ordered a 6" 18% tungsten set from Carbatec (Syd) last Wednesday about 4.00pm and had them in my workshop in Newcastle on Friday at 9.00am $50. I took my old ones out and dressed them with a diamond stone and tucked them away for next changeover. If you change them over as soon as they start to dull it's just a quick lap with the diamond stone.
