Does anyone know the website of the bloke who sells bandsaw blade guides at the Sydney wood show? He was right next to Trend Timbers. Thanks.

    Default The Blade Guides.

    HI Wongo,
I have never bought Guides for my 14in. Saw.
You make them yourself from Lignum Vitae ? or Red Gum, etc & they work as good as anything you can buy.
You just keep turning them around.
You could soak them in some oil.
    Regards,
    issatree.

I did the same with my old saw. I used jarrah. They worked better than the metal block guides and the saw ran quieter
    Regards

Trend are the NSW agents and we will be the victoian agents.

The make any bandsaw into a rolls royce.

The sherwood bandsaw they had there had never cut so good.

The noise from the bearing was also very minimal and the stup was brilliant.

I was very impressed with the Stabiliser like this one. I am trying to figure out if it fits my CT 17"

The website is Benchmark Quality Tools for Carter Products in Australia & New Zealand, and we can help with any enquiries. We are currently exhibiting at the Perth Wood Show, so I hope you can excuse a slight delay in any replies.

We pretty much sold out of all the Stabilizer's in Sydney, and have only just today received our next shipment. Carroll's and Trend should have stocks early next week.

If you have a band saw and aren't sure of whether or not we can fit suitable guides, please contact us and we can make sure you get the right fit.

Thanks for all the support at the show. Alex Snograss in particular felt a bit like a rock star!

It was a very impressive demo at the show.

I grabbed the Benchmark list from Rockstar Alex.

I'll get a set for my bandsaw when I get power to the new shed.
    I know where Trend are!

Give me a week or so to get the rest of the info up there.

Default Trend Timbers has stocks of the Carter Products

Was at Trend on Wednesday - have quite a few Carter Products boxes in the showroom.
Give Adrian a call - I am sure he can help.

I managed to get "Big Al" to make me a couple of reindeer to bring home!
Even managed to video him making one.

Gave him one of my "see through" turned bowls to take home (it was his birthday on the saturday of the show).
