Chess Table
I would like to build a table for our chessboard to sit within. (chessboard is also made of wood)
The board measure about 60cmx60cm.
We also need draws to hold the pieces etc.
I was thinking something like a pedestal table with the board inlaid into the table top.
I would be appreciative of some advice/direction/instruction
Thanks
Kamal

Hi KMan,from an observational perspective I would not necessarily go for a pedestal table owing to the weight of proponents utilising the board...so saying that all the tables I have seen allow for a four leg option giving stability to a proportionate value for two or more players. That is not to say if you have a large stable base a pedestal is not out of the question.
Cheers

Thanks for your reply Johnno.
Having never made a chess table b4, do you know of any way that I am able to obtain any plans/instructions on its construction?
Thanks
