Someone to cut sheet in brisbane ?
Hi all.
About to start a new speaker project, as the timber I'm using is (to me) expensive ($200) I need the services of someone that can cut straight and accurate.
Will be requiring about 30 straight cuts (20 of at a 45 degree angle).
This is in 25mm veneered MDF. (brimsboard 7 layer)
So if anyone can recommend a shop or person that is reliable and fussy ???
Assembly is NOT needed, purely need someone to cut.
I'm also investigating laser cutting.
Anyone have experience with this ????
Thanks all....

I am an apprentice cabinetmaker and have access to a computer controlled panel saw. It is controlled in 1/10mm increments both for the rip and crosscut fence, the blade is also controlled via computer. Send me a message if this is the type of help you are looking for.

Another idea is "Wood'n'you" near Archerfield airport in Brisbane. I have been going there for years and the owner Julian hires out a huge assortment of large machines. He will help you set it up and off you go...he also does it himself for a fee. As I have purchased my own tools, I need to go there less, however, for advice I will still use the equipment and listen intently at his opinions.
Hope this helps
Tim
PS No affiliation at all...however him and his wife are really helpful!!!!!

Thanks Tim, will keep them in mind.
After brief conversation with J.George sounds like he can do what I'm after, just need to meet up with him and discuss the cutting plan.
It's tight and tricky but with a few pre cuts by jigsaw should be do-able.
