cutting thick timber
Hi all
How do I cut a piece of timber 120x120 in one go. My dropsaw only cuts 90mm and my table saw only 75mm. I don't want to cut half way then turn it over then do the other half as it's needed for a good decorative piece and a smooth straight cut is important.

Try a handsaw if cutting accross the grain.....
If ripping - table saw from 2 sides, then plane smooth..
Or take it to someone with a big enough bandsaw......

Bandsaw preferably, if not, hand saw.
Reality is no background music.
