    Default Dining table plans/design

    Hi All

    Just joined the forum, after getting a lot of great advice off the renovate forum.
    Now that the renos are done, it's on to the furniture.

    I want to have a go at making some myself.

    I was wondering if anyone had any designs, plans or photos on how to make a dining table, and possibly chairs too. I like the 'recycled' timber look.

    Also where is a good place to source timber in Southern Sydney?
    Info on types of timber would be good too.

    Any advice or links would be greatly appreciated.

    The best place to get your timber is at Anagote in Marrickville. You will find them very helpful and always the quality is there. They have the range and you can select the pieces you want. And for not a lot of money they can dress it for you. If you are going to put the time into making your own furniture, dont make the mistake of using cheap timber.......remember you will have to look at it for a long time after you have finished!
