New double-sided tape
Double-sided tape is certainly one of the most useful items to have around the shop, and I happened upon a new type. I have to stress that I haven't tried it yet, but it looks terrific. The blurb on it is this:
"Europe's top industrial chemicals specialist, Wurth, has released a new double-sided tape for inside and outside use that boasts the very maximum in adhesive strength. Called Power Mounting Tape, it has been developed to give a high grip on metals, glass, wood, concrete and plastic, and performs long term. It is suitable for a wide range of applications which include automotive, building, maintenance, plumbing, transport etc. The non-hardening tape is completely clear and mostly undetectable once in position."
It appears to come in a decent sized roll, too.
Here's the link to the general website: www.wurth.com.au
and there's a clickable link on this page:

Just click on "Power Mounting Tape" there.
There's a "hotline" number, which is: 1300 65 77 65
and I'll be sending them an email at: [email protected]
to see who distributes it in W.A., where I live. Hope this is helpful to more than a few of you!
Cheers,
