Thanks Trav for the pictures you have a nice setup. I like your kreg fence, I'll be making mine out of either scrap mdf or if I can find some straight grained stable hardwood in my timber rack I may use that. How did you get the tape measure to be spot on? I plan on having some side to side movement in the fence so I can adjust the fence and tape to be exact before I secure it down.Cheers

I finished all the drawer fronts except one today. I'll build the fence on Thursday and hopefully have the whole bench finished by Friday
I'm a bit over building workshop drawers. Between this bench and my other one I've made 24 drawers and installed runners for all of them. But the storage is really handy and I know in the future I won't regret building them.

Thanks Fletty. It wasn't much more work matching the grain but I thought it was worth it. I mentioned this before but I keep reminding myself that it's only for the workshop but that doesn't mean it cant look nice!
Today I'll be making the fence and hopefully finishing the smaller things like extra support legs and back panels.
Cheers

Well, not quite finished but getting closer. I had to go out and pick up a new toy for the workshop so I got delayed a bit.
I ended up deciding against the t track idea for the fence, instead I'll cut slots in the fence support piece and use a threaded insert in the top to lock it all down.
I've included a photo of my router table fence to explain it better.

Hey Andy
Did you finish your awesome bench? I'd love to see a finished photo if you have published one.

Dust collection
Hi Trav, I'm still newer to woodworking but you can use 100mm DWV PVC pipe and cut it for your DC ducting. All the fittings allow you to run it around your workshop and you can get a threaded piece and sealed end cap for the use at each machine. They make a cheap blast gate and when undone you can us a joiner to attach your 100mm hose.
