New to FNQ
Hi to all, have recently moved to Cairns with the military and am trying to find any suppliers of burls or offcuts. Particularly if anyone knows of local wood shows would also be of help.
Cheers

G'day.
Pls ignore the peanut gallery.
Try Wren Timbers. 2 -18 Palmer St Portsmith 4870 (07) 4035 1301
Also look up the local woodworker's club.
They are usually open on the weekend.
The Club house is in Knight St.
It runs off Palmer St. not far from Wren Timbers.
If they aren't open, call into Bunnies & ask for Ron in the tool shop.
He is involved in the club.
If you want to venture up onto the Tableland, have a look at Tolga Timbers. (you will need $$$s)Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.
