Default FYI - free rubber bands for glueups

    Was just down the postoffice.

The big red rubber bands used for the posties can only be used once. OH&S issue apparently. They give them away if you ask for them, by the SACK. for FREE.

Thought people would like to know. I just found out today and they are perfect for those fiddly little glueups.

Being free, I feel no guilt at tossing them once they get goopy.

Also widely available daily in small quantities at you own letterbox if you happen to live at the start of a delivery section as the posty peels them off the bundle and drops them.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.

I am close to the local distribution centre so if I need some, I go for a walk and collect them off the pathway where they have been discarded by the posties.

Whose website did I see where they said it was cheaper to post to England than the next suburb? It was one of the advertisers here in their postal FAQ.... Explains why the drill bits I had posted from England cost $7-ish whereas here the postage was $8.95 for the lowest cost satchel alone.

While free was good, I will admit it champed my undies when she said as she did.
