Default Gable roof designer ~ calculator

I've just set up a new online (free) roof calculator for gable roofs and would appreciate any feedback on the way it's set up, and ways to improve it. For example, now you can choose to extend the ridge through to the end of the gable overhang, or keep it flush with the last rafter. And you can set the end rafters in from the end walls. It also allows for different overhang to sides and gable ends. It calculates the area of the gable under the rafters. It lives here

Thanks for any feedback / suggestions

    Gidday Block layer,

I'm just gonna start mucking around with your calculators - exactly what we need. I'll give you some feedback if you like.

Wonga Beach? Hows the midges? I've got a mate up there you might know, JW? Your calculators remind me of some work he was doing.

    Cheers

    Default Need Smaller Calculator

I have found your site and and find it to be one of the best. However the fields for building dimensions begin with a building 8' long and 6' with for gable roof rafters. I am building a play house for my kids that is 7' long by 5' 10" wide. It would be nice if the minimum building lengths and widths allowed for these smaller sizes.
