Help and research
Hello everyone who reads this,
I am a student in year 12 Design and technology, and i wish to ask a few questions and hopefully get some feed back.
I have plans to build a large corner desk, for a student or at least for paper work and such, so it needs to be strong enough to hold a computer, any paper work ,text books etc. while being aesthetic and functional.
I would really like to hear your opinions on wood types for this project, taking in factors such as cost, aesthetics, workability and varying properties needed for a successful desk.
Please also realise that anything posted in reply within this thread could be used as research within my project folio, and all credit for this information will be recognised as yours.
hope to hear your opinions and ideas!
Anthony.

Anthony,
It looks as though you're at the start of writing your folio, which is usually done in term 4 of the year before.
I was just asking - is this a 'mad panic' job or are you ahead of the pace.
Best regards,
eddie
