Default Need some helpful and useful advice!...

Hi, My names Leo and I'm a year 12 student who's looking for two things:

    1. I need to find a place (workshop) in the Sydney area where I can work on my project during the holidays, preferably one with a dovetail jig ,router and thicknesses. I'm finding a hard time locating a public workshop and any help would be much appreciated.

    2. I'm look for a place where I may purchase Jarrah Timber, I've been to a miter 10 and they said it was too expensive to stockpile so again any help would be very much appreciated!

I am currently building my year 12 major which is a Jewelry box.

Once again is anyone could help in pointing me in the right direction would be great!
    thank you.

Hi ILeo, Sydney is a BIG place! Where is convenient for you?
I get my timber from Matthews at St Mary's and they have racks of jarrah but, as per my question, I don't know if that is convenient for you. Trend Timber at McGraths Hill (near Windsor) and Anagote Timber at/near Tempe, also stock it.

    Hi Ileo,

As Fletty says Sydney is a big place.

There are Men's Sheds around that can probably help you out. Google is your friend (you found us) and BTW welcome.
