Default ID a plywood chair and finish I should use

    Hi,

I saved the attached chair from my Grandmothers backyard and have stripped back the multiple layers of paint (they probably saved it from the weather).

I wanted to identify this chair does anyone know about them, they were bought in Sydney by my great Aunts in the 1960's but I can't find any info on them.

Secondly I want to finish them as I love the plywood, what would do the best job?

Thirdly,I have a second one that has green stains in the grain, is there anything that could fix it other than a dark stain?

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

Looks familiar, I'll have a look in some of the books.
For the stain, try some Ubeaut furniture restorer first.
