    Default I'm looking for a work space in Brisbane.

    Hi everyone, I'm currently looking for a place to do some woodwork on the weekends as I live in an apartment.
    If you have a large shed or garage in the Brisbane area that you would like to rent out please post back. Thanks Russell.

    Hi Russell and welcome,
    Have you thought about a Men's Shed ? There are a number around Brisbane. Some only open weekdays but I'm pretty sure there are some open weekends and nights too. There's a thread or two on the subject somewhere on this forum.

    Some more specific clubs like woodturners clubs would have good facilities too.

    A friend's Dad moved to an over 50's village around 15 years ago. He rented a garage off one of the other residents for some years. Parked his car there and set his up as a workshop. But he was a village resident too, that may make a difference. I've also heard anecdotally that people rent powered storage facilities for personal workshops but I've always thought it would be expensive so doubted they were true.
