Default Any info on TOUGH (old Oz made lathe) ?

Hi - newbie to wood-turning. I was going to get a Woodfast M305 but one of the suppliers suggested I consider a (reconditioned) 2nd hand Tough that he has - comes with quite a few extras over the basic Woodfast

Never heard of this brand so any input would be appreciated - I know spare parts will be hard to get but given the number of companies that have gone belly-up over the years I'm not going to let that put me off.

    Thumbs up

    G'day,

Nope, parts aren't hard to get. Len at The Woodsmith bought all rights and tooling etc. for Tough lathes. If you need something fixed or replaced he can repair and make a new replacement piece for you.

Waldo - thanks for prompt reply. Good to know that this product is still supported. I'll have to see what's in the package and price before I commit
