Default Jarrah & Tasie Oak keepsake box

My latest little commission, a young mans 21st present from his girlfriend. Jarrah and Tasie oak keepsake box to match a desk he made at school. 350 long, 200wide, 150 high. A stark contrast to my next job that will weigh in around half a ton.

I'm sure that he will like the box. Nice.

Nice work CH. I really like the Jarrah. The young man should be very happy with it. Well done mate.

Thanks guys, I had to remember it was for a young man and not to make it it too tizzy. It was a great piece of Jarrah with lots of great figure in it and the Tazie Oak was pretty good too.

Really nice job CH. You got those hinges perfectly set and aligned so that the box closes so neatly. A good job with hinges like that is generally hardly noticed. But any misplacement of hinges sticks out like a sore thumb. What is your half-ton job going to be? A big box?
