    Default Jinxed Wood

    has anyone had this problem.

I have some timber its old scrap nice grain, I want to use it to make a box or 2 out of it

    BUT

Every time I go near it I feel it has this terrible power which makes me feel ill draws the life out of me .

I feel I should toss it even LOML has the same feeling its a piece I got given.

I can move it around look at it but try work on it cut it etc .

    Xfile or what

    Hi Wheelin,

lean an axe against it and hang a set of rosary beads on it.

Leave it for a week and then try again.

    cheers

One more try today last ditch effort.

Garlic, Ray, have you tried Garlic. Seriously if you get that feeling about it, just burn it or bury it. Sometimes you just can't explain these things so go with your gut feeling.
I have feelings like that about certain things and I just avoid doing anything that will push my luck.
    Reality is no background music.

    G'Day Wheelin

They say everything is answered on the internet, after an intense search sounds like you need a "geopathic survey"

    so wheelin,
you dont listen to wimmim huh?
watch out or wendy and we will witch you.
but if your not pulling our legs about this, its interesting.
    where did it come from?
I' not supertisious or anything but I do believe that houses, and other things used by people can absorb stuff.
otherwise why can we pick up somthing like wood or old but ordinary stuff and either like it or be indifferent when to the eye theres nothing special about it.
Maybe this does belong on WWW as we might take it more seriously.
But logicly speaking, get rid of it, if you feel like that about it your bound to do yourself a injury anyway

Its obvious. The wood does not like your current design ideas.

Try some radical change in your design thoughts.

The wood will let you know when it is happy to become something new.

Astrid thanks have my own witch LOML and even she said the same thing ditch it.
No not pulling the leg or telling whoppers the angst has gone out of the shed it had such nice grain.

Thanks David sadly as you can see its gone I had thought of a few ideas it had been a box it was attached to something given to me by a forumite thats all I'll say I don't want to offend that member.

The most striking thing was feeling ill after attempting to work with it, seriously enough to have to go lay down at one stage on one attempt.

I have only once come across something similar in my life before a vehicle I drove not mine someone else's I refused to drive it ever again.
