Looking for a toy box
I looked around and couldn't find anywhere a big toy box in natural wood. I would really like one and don't know how to go about getting it. Do I build one myself? If so, how? Does anyone know of anyone who builds them? Sorry for so many questions..

Jenna,
You could easily make your own if you have a few basic tools, I dont know what experience and equipment you have. If you want an idea for a simple box the attached photos might help. It is not necessary to dovetail the corners, they could as easily be butt joined and the rest is basic box construction. If you want a cutting list and measurements I will happily send them.
This box is designed to be compatable with a single bed width and will make a blanket chest when grown out of the toy stage. A soft close gas strut has been added to prevent fingers being caught and it has been polished. the drawer under allows for easier access.
Regards from Bill

NZStu has posted pictures of a nice box in the woodwork photo section. Have a look, well worthwhile.
Regards, Bill.
